2017 GGITC Pitch Competition

I participated in Schneider Electric's Go Green in the City pitch competition, creating a business case, pitch, and design solution to improve energy access. Our team won the North America Finals in Boston and placed third at the International Finals in Paris, France.

The Idea

Illuminate is a solution to bring renewable energy to remote areas. We are a tool to survey, monitor, and analyze energy solutions, allowing for standardization of data and improved access through the use of sensors. Below are some of the slides I created for the pitch deck.

Solution Demo Mockup

We take the idea of Illuminate as a product further by proposing an intelligent platform to present all the knowledge gained after surveying using sensors. Through the platform, clients can monitor renewable energy buisness trends, view relevant advertizements, and understand the specifc energy needs of remote areas. Below are mockups of the proposed webapp and the UX interaction. We use the example of Sumba Island, where existing sensor based monitoring has been conducted by EnergyXDuke.
